Note: The recommended length of Solcor Rubber Cord to be used is 80cm minimum - preferably 100cm. The usable length should be measured from the attachment point to where it enters the valve.
ie: length required for the knot and rubber after the valve does not count.

J-Hook

No. 8 Knot

Note:
Do not fully nail home the staple - leave 10mm gap for the rubber.

Double Knot (above)
This vineyard is utilizing two systems - an irrigation line incorporating both the irrigation flushing valve and the frost protection lateral. Both using Solcor UV resistant rubber.

Important - please be aware that if the last vine in the row is planted too close to the straining post - over a period of time - there is the potential for the strainer to move due to the water irrigating the last vine.
